AVSMedia Releases AVS Video Converter major
upgrade version 4.2.
Now AVS
Video Converter introduces innovations, which are to
allow creating video content for mobile devices, such as PSP, PDA, mobile
phones, smartphones.
Online Media Technologies Ltd. releases
AVS Video Converter version 4.2, a minor upgrade to its top-market
product for home-video processing, such as video capturing,
converting into a variety of video formats, basic editing, DVD authoring
and burning.
Version 4.2 focuses on advanced options for DVD burning. This version
introduces a totally new DVD burning engine, which allows to make the process
of DVD, VCD and SVCD burning smoother and faster, supports more drives and
media.
AVS Video Converter now
supports DL DVDs for both reading and burning. Now when converting to DVD and
writing to a Dual Layer DVD disc you can select from a number of Dual Layer DVD
presets, which enable you not to limit the amount of data, written to a single
DVD to 4.7 GB. Several DL DVD presets are also available during video file
conversion.
To make the installation file smaller and more convenient for download, help
file was removed from it and Help Information is now available online at AVSMedia official site. Users can also download a separate help file and use it in
off-line mode.

requirements
AVS Video Converter will
run under Windows 2000/XP/2003. It requires 128MB of RAM, CPU at least 1000 MHz
and Minimum 40 MB of free hard disk space is needed for installation, minimum
300 Mb for proper working. Administrative tools are required for installation.
