Sometimes you might want to place several movies on one DVD and do not know how this can be done. Using AVS Video Converter it is quite easy to do that and burn the result onto a DVD to watch it later on your Home DVD Player. AVS Video Converter has an internal burning engine, that will guide you through all the necessary steps to burn your video onto a disc.

Let's suppose you have several video files that you want to convert into DVD compatible format and place onto one DVD. Follow the steps below to do that:

Step 1 :

Download and install AVS Video Converter.

Click here to download it. After the download is finished, run the AVSVideoTools.exe file and follow the installation wizard instructions.

Step 2 :

Run AVS Video Converter and select your input video files.

To select the videos you would like to add hit the '+' button under Browse.... In the opened Windows Explorer Window browse for the necessary video files:

Select the files with the mouse button and use the Open button to load the videos into AVS Video Converter.

Step 3 :

Set up the conversion parameters.

After you have selected the video input file, press To DVD button on the main panel to convert your video file into DVD compatible format. In the list of Profiles select one of the offered profiles.

Step 4 :

Create DVD menu.

Now you can create a menu for your output DVD so that the navigation between your videos were easy and convenient. To do that click the Edit button:

In the opened Edit window use the button to switch to the DVD menu editing mode:

You can use the Add and Auto Add buttons in the Markers field to add the beginning of the DVD chapters.

Note!Note: in case you use the Auto Add button, the markers - and thus the chapters' beginning - will be added to the start of each video file:

You can also select the menu design from the presets list. When done, close this window to get down to conversion of the video.

Step 5 :

Set up a proper path for your output DVD.

Click the Browse... button next to Output File Name field and select a location on your HDD for the output DVD files and folders:

Note!Note: when you select a location for your output video file, you should save the file to your personal computer HDD.
Step 6 :

Convert your video files.

After you have set up all the conversion parameters, hit the Convert Now! button to start converting.

The result of the conversion should be a folder with DVD (or SVCD/VCD) video files that will be recorded onto a disc with the help of the AVS Video Converter internal burning engine. It will be launched automatically when the conversion process is over.

Step 7 :

Burn your resulting DVD onto a disc.

Insert a blank DVD into your computer optical disc drive. Make sure that the disc is compatible with your drive.

The AVS Video Burner application will be launched to guide you through the burning process so that you could record your converted video onto a disc with no difficulty.

You can select the necessary disc drive if you have several, refresh it and mark the Verify disc check-box to make sure the disc is recorded correctly:

After that click the Start burning! button to begin the recording.

Note!Note: if the disc is not empty you will be offered to erase it. If you do not want to do that, you can eject the disc and use another one instead.

After the burning is over the disc will be ejected automatically.

Note!Note: if you checked the Verify disc the recording will take a little longer depending on the output files size as the program will need time to verify the recorded files.

Now you can watch your recorded DVD on your Home DVD Player!
